We aren't in the most easy to find location. But, it is quiet, private, and in a friendly neighborhood. The Irishman's Shanty in Crookston, MN is nestled in the far south side of town; not downtown. We are located on the corner of South Main and 4th Avenue South. South Main is the big street, and 3rd Avenue South is the big street that runs parallel to 4th Avenue South. You will see us on the corner of 3rd Avenue South and South Main.
Travelers from Highway 2 Going East (Coming from Grand Forks)
Continue through town which will turn into a one-way - Main. Keep going south on Main for a few blocks and stay in the middle lane in the one-way. Keep going straight through Robert Street and stay in the middle lane. Go over the bridge and stop at the stop sign. Keep going straight on South Main until you reach the intersection and you will see us on the corner!
Travelers from Highway 2 Going West (Coming from Bemidji)
Make a left on Fairfax right off the highway before going through town. Stay on the road until come to an intersection with a hanging yellow light. Turn left and we are right there!
Travelers from Highway 75 Going South (Coming from Warren, Canada)
Just turn onto Highway 2 going into town and follow Hwy-2 Going East directions.
Travelers from Highway 75 Going North (Coming from Climax, Halstad, Fargo/Moorhead)
Right after the American Crystal Sugar Beet Plant, make a right at 3rd Avenue South. Follow the road until you get to an intersection with a hanging yellow light. Turn right; We are down a little and on the corner!
Travelers from Highway 9; Highway 59; Highway 102 Going North (Coming from Ada/Borup, Detroit Lakes, Mahnomen, Fertile)
Merge onto Highway 2 Going West and follow those directions.
